Help loosen stubborn tangles and compacted fur with the Coat Rescue Dematting Rake. Its spaced stainless-steel blades work through manageable mats in smaller sections, cutting and separating tangled hair while reducing the pulling caused by an ordinary comb.
The wooden handle and built-in finger rest provide a secure, controlled grip, making the rake especially useful for pets with long, thick, or dense coats.
Features:
- Stainless-steel blades separate tangled and matted fur
- Spaced design reaches into long and dense coats
- Helps remove loose undercoat, trapped debris, and manageable mats
- Wooden handle provides a comfortable grip
- Finger rest offers additional control during detailed grooming
- Suitable for cats and dogs with appropriate coat types
- Approximate size: 7.3 × 2.4 × 1.2 inches
Directions for Use:
Use only on a dry coat. Separate a small section of tangled fur and hold the hair near its base to reduce pulling on the skin. Beginning at the outer edge of the tangle, use short, gentle strokes and gradually work inward. Never yank, twist, or force the rake through resistance.
Important Safety Information:
The blades are designed to cut through tangled fur and must be used carefully. Keep the rake flat against the coat and away from eyes, ears, skin folds, genitals, nipples, and other sensitive areas. Do not use on irritated or injured skin.
Skin-tight, extensive, or painful matting should be handled by a professional groomer or veterinarian. Attempting to remove severe mats at home can cut or injure the skin beneath them.
